Answer #1

During training and exercise 6% of carbohydrates are recommended for athletes per hour. So, 6-10 grams of carbohydrates per kilogram must be consumed by an athlete weighing 145 pounds. Around 390 grams of carbohydrates every hour must be consumed.

16-24 ounces of fluid every hour with 500-1000 grams of sodium must be consumed every hour.
