The three stages of knowing as per psychology can be said as Garden of Eden, Anything goes and finally the critical thinking stage.
The first stage is one where we see the world and facts as black and white. The second one is that we come across several opinion of one topic but do not find much difference between them. The final is one where we think and decide which one is best out of the other.
I would like to explain this by citing the religious belief in God within me as an example. As a child, I was taught by my parents about God and various ways to worship him as to obtain prosperity in life. Second stage as when I cae across people who had both beliefs and disbeliefs in God , but was unable to take a stand on which is the best choice with respect to trust on God or faith. The final stage happened where I was able to witness incidents happening in both my personal life and in the life of people around me and combined the same with the influence of an unnatural or suerhuman power whom we call GOD. Finally, I was able to reach to a conclusion that GOD does exist who is invisible but we can feek the same like we feel air or wind.
