Water (distilled, deionized, or tap) is NOT "pure" (i.e., pHequal to 7). The moment it comes in contact with air, CO2 gas begins dissolving into it, forming carbonic acid. The actual pH, therefore, will often be slightly less than 7.

the ph of deionized water is 7, if the carbon dioxde gas being dissolved in to it carbonic acid is formed then ph is slightly less than 7(because of the acidic properties of carbonic acid).

The length of particle in deionized water is λD = 311 nm
