Pwettylook is a personal care product boutique. It plans to promote its new product in some advertising media. Two advertising media, Radio and Newspaper are being considered for this promotion. Radio advertisement cost RM400 each, while newspaper advertisement cost RM600 each. The total budget is RM7,200 per week. The total number of advertisements should be not more than fifteen (15), with at least two (2) of each type. Each newspaper advertisement reaches 6,000 people, while each radio advertisement reaches 2,000 people. The boutique wishes to reach as many people (maximum exposure) as possible while meeting all the constraints stated. a. Formulate this as a Linear Programming model. (6 marks) b. Solve using corner point graphical method. (6 marks) c. How many advertisement of each type should be placed? (1 mark) d. What is the maximum reach (exposure) of the advertisement?
