Specific problem – The punching network of cards in the company is not reliable. We wish to develop a new attendance system to ensure the firm's presence surveillance is reliable and avoid business financial loss.

1. Current failure and the need for the new system identify: the current lack of attendance in the card punching system is to be identified using the individual card punching by workers. Nevertheless, other employees will punch the card on behalf of absent employees. Unethical card bouncing problems occur, which is eliminated by developing a new attendance program that can discourage specific workers from bouncing unethical card for other employees. The key purpose of the new system is to prevent improper card punching and only the individual employee can take part in the system.

b.Various alternative technical approaches we may wish to consider in designing the new system are as below:

• The biometric finger punching of the attendance system allows other workers to punch only their participation.
• Monitor to track workers in the existing card punching program for the non-ethical punching of the card.
• Explore the employee's photo scan during punching in the current system of card pitching to ensure unethical card punching issues are avoided.

From this we have selected the first option as - Biometric finger punching in the attendance system, so that specific individual employee can only punch his or her attendance in the system

c. The basic requirements for the new biometric punching device will be as follows.

• The new system should be able to customize for the employee's figure prints and identify the employee quickly while punching in the device.
• For the addition / deletion of attendance criteria, the attendance scheme should have administrative access control.
• The system should be able to set up / incorporate employee finger adjustments.
• The attendance report should be available to the government through the biometric figure-punching program.
• The attendance program should have leave management features.

d. The new system will be applied as follows.

• The system is monitored regularly and the system owner is supplied with the system maintenance as prescribed by the program.
• The backup solution is offered by the manufacturer of the biometric figure card punching device in the event of maintenance problems.
• The replacement parts are handled by the manufacturer through the AC process, as needed.
