  1. Assume that you modify your .bashrc, and you want the changes to take effect right away. How can you execute the commands in the .bashrc file without starting a new shell (hint - use one of the built-in bash commands - check the man pages for a command that doesn't start with a letter)? (Linux)

You just have to enter the command:

source ~/.bashrc

or you can use the shorter version of the command:

. ~/.bashrc
