HELP Write half a page: What do you think might be some barriers to the successful, effective use of the project managment software packages?

The barriers to the successful, effective use of the project management software packages are:

- Business requirements might not align with the project management software package- In certain cases, the businesses might obtain the latest project management software package. However, it might not suit the business requirements/process.

- Employees resistance to change to adapt to the new system and use the software package- Employees fear of job security make them to resist changes to upgrade the new software packages.

- Lack of effective customer support to help with software package usage- There are software packages that does not have adequate customer support or project team’s support to its effective use.

- Lack of proper training for employees on the use of project management software- Though businesses implement the latest project management software package, it might not provide sufficient training for its employees to successfully use it.

- Limited availability of expertise for the project management software package- Due to the advancements in the technological field, availability of talents and expertise is a great barrier to its usage.       

- Non-availability of infrastructure to install, integrate and implement the project management software- The project management software package might require the system (PC) to support the software package. The latest version might not be available by the firms which makes it a great barrier to effectively implement and use the project management software package.
