There are various ways in which managers promote the concept of creativity at the workplace:

• Employees are given a free hand to try innovative methods of doing the same work with the intention of optimizing the activity.
• Rewards are given to the employees who do creative work and suggest any innovation that can be implemented at work.
• Training programs are conducted for the same purpose for the employees.
• Managers promote the industry trends to higher management with all data supporting that certain innovation can help the organization in the long run.

The general idea that can be used is to study the industry trends and accordingly train the employees so that they all in sync with the industry, this gives an option and opportunity to the employees to think innovatively and implement the same. Apart from that, a formal policy should be rolled out to the employees which propagate the use of creative methods at work.
