Now that you have some background information about the plant or plant community you would like to investigate, think about every variable you can think of that might influence the outcome of the experiment. Easy ones are light, moisture, etc. You can add more detail to this. Light intensity or light duration? Here you are brainstorming.
→ variables (listed):
You can only reasonably investigate one or two variables in a simple experimental design. Therefore, now narrow the scope of your experimental design. Write at least 200 words.
→ Experimental design:
Variables (listed):
•Light (more or less intensity)
•Moisture
•Presence or lack of oxygen
•Presence of a herbicide
•Presence of any compound that could affect the plant
•Temperature
Experimental design
In this case, we will test the influence of light on the plant growth. We will place three plants of the same kind in different places of your home. One plant will be placed in the window were the light intensity is intense, other plant will be placed in your living room where the intense of light is moderate and the last one will be placed inside a box. The experiment will be executed during one week.
Our hypothesis would be: “If light is fundamental for growing, the plant placed in the window will have a longer length of stem than the other two plants”
Dependent variable: Length of the stem. Since the photosynthesis requires light and it is directed associated with the growth of the plant. The length of the stem will be affected by the intensity of light.
Independent variable: The place were is located each plant. This variable is independent because it does not depend on any other variable. In fact, the length of the plant depends on the place of localization.
Controlled variables: In this case, we will watering the plant one time each 2 days during a week and we will allow oxygen to be in contact with each plan.
After a week, we will measure the length of the stem with a rule and we will make some conclusions.

Welcome to our plant sciences department here at TransBiol It's great to have you as an intern. I'm the lead scientist of a team developing new herbicides to use against invasive plant species. The team has been really swamped with work, so it'll be great to have some help analyzing all the data we're collecting. Since it's your first day, a great way to get started with any research project is to brush up on the background knowledge you'll need...

Review possible diagnoses
Now that you have considered the evidence at hand, you should
start to build a hypothesis about what disease your patient has. In
the beginning of your diagnostic process you should try to think
broadly and consider any and all reasonable possibilities. You can
then narrow down these possibilities by performing diagnostics that
can support or refute your hypothesis.
Diseases in Focus Chapter 25 Female, age 19 Select all conditions that could reasonably apply to your patient....
Read this article. Then write a 250 word response on two of the programs you like the most. Open source business intelligence software 1. BIRT BIRT is an open source BI program that CloudTweaks says is often viewed as the industry standard. BIRT boasts “over 12 million downloads and over 2.5 million developers across 157 countries.” Its users include heavyweights such as Cisco, S1, and IBM (which is also a BIRT sponsor). They also have maturity going for them, as...
The volleyball coach at Verde Valley High School would like some help managing her team. She is looking for a piece of software to help her see who her best players are, and build scrimmage teams that are well balanced. She has a team roster stored in a text file that contains the names of her players (first name, then last name separated by a space), and their stats as attacks per set (double) followed by blocks per set (double)....
1. find an article about a product or service that impacts your daily life and write 1 to 2 paragraphs describing the item, how it impacts your life, and what factors you think are impacting the supply and demand of this item. Be sure to include the URL of the article you accessed for this question. 2.What are the ethics of outsourcing? Is a corporation’s primary responsibility to its stockholders, by reducing labor costs? Or is its primary responsibility to...

TASK Read the Regional gardens case study document before attempting this assignment. Background: You have been employed by Regional Gardens as their first Chief Information Officer (CIO). You have been tasked by the Board to conduct a review of the company’s risks and start to deploy security policies to protect their data and resources. You are concerned that the company has no existing contingency plans in case of a disaster. The Board indicated that some of their basic requirements for...
Please read the article and answer about questions. You and the Law Business and law are inseparable. For B-Money, the two predictably merged when he was negotiat- ing a deal for his tracks. At other times, the merger is unpredictable, like when your business faces an unexpected auto accident, product recall, or government regulation change. In either type of situation, when business owners know the law, they can better protect themselves and sometimes even avoid the problems completely. This chapter...
