The steps for investigating the outbreaks are as follows:

1. The existence of the outbreak must be identified. This is done by analyzing if at this time or are the people get ill.

2. The diagnosis for the disease must be verified. This helps in the proper identification of the disease.

3. A case definition must be created in which a person must be affected by the outbreak of disease.

4. By using the IT field, the mapping of the spread of the outbreak must be done.

5. A hypothesis must be made that constitutes the reason for the outbreak.

6. The hypothesis made must be studied thoroughly by collecting data.

7. Make relevant changes is the hypothesis and study about the outbreak in detail.
