How does dropping as opposed to throwing an object affect how it falls (free falls) to the earth? How would it affect precision and accuracy?

Dropping is usually like just releasing the object at rest and let it fall under the influence of gravity where the object's velocity increases by 9.8 m/s every second

In case of throwing, we are using some external force and some initial velocity and when this initial velocity becomes zero, object comes under the influence of gravity.

Accuracy and precision is not affected by whether we drop or throw the ball. It depends on the constant value of g which is 9.8 m/s2 sometimes taken as 10 m/s2.
