Question

I just need an explanation why do we have to copy first then use the getfunction why can we just dirctly use the get function on like (borrowers.getID() == ID) instead of (borrow.getID() == ID)

borrowers is an array of borrower and here we are comparing the id of each of the borrower one by one

We can't write it as borrowers.getID() == ID) because it means we are trying to get the id of borrower array which is impossible and you will get an error

For example

We have borrower A whose id is 1, borrower B whose id is 2, borrower C whose id is 3.

Now storing these borrowers in one array

borrowerArray = [A,B,C]

Now if we write borrowerArray.getId(). It means we are trying to access the id of array which is error

but if we write borrowerArray[2].getid() then it will give first access borrower at index 2 which is C

and then it will get the id of C which is 3
