Let assume yourself the proprietor of the local Italian restaurant. This restaurant is currently situated in the suburb of a big city. You are enjoying a good profit and an investor has approached you to help you in opening 10 more locations throughout the state.

By able to create Swot Analysis I would be able to know in and out of the model

SWOT

  1. Strength: The strength of the restaurant is serving best quality delicious food in the city,offering best service and quality service as well,with lavishing decors and interiors and soft music it makes distinguishable from others in city,also offering low prices and discounts with corporate discounts on bulk orders.It offers attractive discounts to students as well.
  2. Weakness:Wait staff and lack of showing staff as how to attend tables in minimum time is big weakness and this includes lack of availability of some seasonal items which are not available in some seasons is one negative thing.
  3. Opportunity: As currently in market there is big trend of organic made dishes which are 100% natural and farm fresh with no processing.Finding more traffic more traffic during afternoon by providing discount at 2 pm to 4 pm which others don't offer.Selling restaurant based package food such as cottage cheese and bakery products as well.
  4. Threats:The biggest threat is a restaurant nearby selling and offering same type of cuisine,since this give customers to have a variety to go to other restaurant,other threats maybe rising of sea food dishes because of natural disaster or oil or chemical spillage maybe..

  1. Average customers visiting per hour.
  2. Average customers visiting restaurant and eating per hour.
  3. Average number of students visiting the restaurant during student hours.
  4. Average number of customers availing discounts.
  5. Repeated customer (loyal customer) returns to eat again & not preferring rival restaurant.
