After the case of Donoghue v Stevenson., it was found that it is the legal duty of care of the producers towards the final consumer if it is not feasible to find out the defective products before it is actually consumed. Donoghue v Stevenson is considered as the most significant and landmark court decision related to the tort law. This case laid the foundation for the formation of creating the existing law of negligence and developing the common laws of duty of care. This case laid the principle that one person has the duty of care towards the other individuals.

The result of this case has given the rebirth to the law comprehensively. This created a new era of law to the benefit of some while having some threats to others. For instance, personal injury is considered as bot the statutory duty and also the part of the neighbour principle. The outcome of the case resulted in the controlled liberty of the individuals. There are many evil outcomes of the unrestrained culture of blame and compensation and it has definitely some interference with the citizen freedom
