Answer #1

When purchasing products in a retail store, many of these attributes are innately apart of most operations of sales and customer service, which are reinforced with a tangible product that can be carefully reviewed by the buyer. With any trusted source, especially through retailers, customers gain an overall physical and emotional experience within the store and gain an attachment to the product.Consumers that patronize online stores, on the other hand, can find themselves feeling detached and having a sense of un trust worthiness due to the lack of the presence of an actual product. When I made my first purchase with Amazon, I experienced some hesitation. With the combination of excellent price, quality shipping, and the detailed description that matched precisely what I was looking for, it seemed as though it might just be“too good to be true.”As I ordered the product and had it shipped to my home I could only pray that they did not steal my information and use it for malicious purposes. My package arrived and all that I ordered to the exact detail within the box. From there, I was a loyal customer with Amazon and as a result had a stronger relationship with the company.

Before my experience with Amazon, I was skeptical in regards to making online purchases. Based on the positive outcome with Amazon, I regularly shop online for clothes, electronics and other gadgets. My behavior quickly changed after receiving my first package from Amazon and was immensely satisfied.

Even when returning an item Amazon, quickly responded and refunded my money immediately. My interaction with the company in regards to a faulty device was resolved in a quick, efficient manner. The mutual relationship from that point forward became closer based on the effective customer service and receiving the same level of service on other products I purchased down to the exact detail. In comparison to various online stores, Amazon’s customer service is faster than any of the other online competitors, which makes it unique in its own right. Amazon, overall, gave me an experience that I probably could not have received any online establishment, which was proficiency, trustworthiness, and exaction with all of my products; therefore, manifesting all the attributes that creates what is considered an astounding relationship.

Write a reflective paragraph summarizing your thoughts. Organizational change research has been criticized for neglecting the role of history in the study of change (Pettigrew et al., 2001). Much of the existing research tends to treat organizational change as “episodic” and comprising of independent events (Pettigrew, 1987, p. 655). More generally, research in organizational behavior has tended to ignore the theoretical and methodological significance of context in the examination of work attitudes and outcomes (Johns, 2006). In the studies reported...

In The Five Competitive Forces That Shape Industry Competition, Porter identifies customer switching costs as one of the barriers to entry into an industry. Case Incident: As this chapter has shown, emotions are an inevitable part of people’s behavior at work. At the same time, it’s not entirely clear that we’ve reached a point where people feel comfortable expressing all emotions at work. The reason might be that business culture and etiquette remain poorly suited to handling overt emotional displays. The question is, can organizations become more intelligent about emotional management? Is it ever appropriate to yell, laugh, or cry at work? Some people...
