Using the information from chapters 3 on Value System and Value Chain Modeling, give your own example that illustrates how resources exchanged between an enterprise and its business partners? You may create a sample to justify your illustration.

The question asked is to explain the how the resources are exchanged between the enterprise and business partners before we get into the topic first let us discuss about value chain and value system.

The value chain system is used for delivering the product in the market. The main work of value chain is add value to the product in each and every step that it is provides value to the product that is being develop.

A firms large activities form a value system. Every organization has to understand the activities of the value system to achieve more benefits.

Any firm that needs to develop the product they need to follow two things first is primary and support activities.

Primary activities consists of

1) Inbound logistics- the primary work is to receiving, warehousing and managing the inventory.

2) Operations- It is used to for converting the raw materials into final product.

3) Outbound logistics – the work of it is to distribute the final product to the consumer.

4) Marketing and sales – It is used to advertise the product with an amount fixed to the product and for selling the product.

5) Service- The activities done in this are providing services to the customer like maintenance, repair, refund and exchange.

The next level is to provide support activities in this it provides

1) Procurement- In this how an organization obtains the raw materials.

2) Technology development-In this organization uses the technology for developing the website, which can be used for taking orders online.

3) Human resources-It’s main concentration is to maintain the staff by hiring and maintain the employees.

4) Infrastructure- Maintaining the workspace and maintaining the accounts.

  Now let us consider an example how this value chain system is going to work here let us consider a grocery store, which wants to sell the dresses and other materials

First they need to purchase the raw material and they need to prepare the material and the next thing that need to do is to develop the raw material into a product and after that it comes for sale in the market.

Before sending the product into the market proper value i.e. cost of the product needs to be finalized and its marketing strategy need to be considered. The entire development of the product involves resources and workspace for developing.

Finally I would like to conclude that for developing any product and making the product a successful product we need to follow the value chain system to incur the profits.
