Job specification tells the qualification required, skills owned, necessary experience and suitable qualities required to do a particular job. So, writing a job specification, first requires the assessment of the job itself so that necessary qualities, skill sets , qualification and experience. Once these unique dimensions and characteristics for the specific job, are identified, then it is collectively mentioned in the form of a statement. It becomes the job specification for the particular job. Now, the recruitment team or the managers start finding the person with specified characteristics to deliver the job in best possible ways.

There are different traits and behavior that should an employee bring to the job for effective engagement. The first such trait is willingness to work in a team and respect the values of others. It is the single trait that makes a lot of work to be easier for the manager as it develops cohesion, makes people create space for the others and develop cooperation among themselves as a team. Further, it also develops shared assumptions when they respect each other. The second trait is the problem solving attribute that makes employees participate in brainstorming sessions. It brings employee engagement and one employee helps another. It also develops a strong organizational culture. The third trait or behavior is leadership where an employee not only works for himself, but also motivates the others in the team. So, performance level of everyone gets improved. At the same time, organization also achieves its goals.  So, these are some of the traits and behavior, to be in the employees in the given context.
