I Know that when it is a reciprocal translocation heterozygote a cross shaped figure is formed, but I can't find any information on what forms if it is reciprocal translocation homozygote. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You

Answer #1

The answer should be none of the above.

Stem loop will be formed in deletion.

Cross shaped structure will be formed in heterozygous translocation.

Inversion loop will be formed in inversion.

Breakage fusion Bridge cycle is a process where two chromosomes get joined together and then during meiosis one of the chromosomes become acentric fragment and the other becomes dicentric fragment and ultimately both are lost.

I am giving you diagram so that you understand how meiosis is occurring in different conditions.
