I was hoping you could help me out with a section that I'm stuck on with my studies.

I've been given this scenario;

You are a manager of a team of 10 workers at BIZX. Based on feedback from head office you have come to realise that you have poor workplace relationships with those workers and that the workers have poor relationships with each other. All in all morale is very low.

You have been instructed by BIZX head office to write a report that includes a detailed plan on how you plan to turn this situation around; you have been given 6 month to rectify the situation. Your directive from head office is that you need respond to the following areas in your report that will describe how you will improve these relationships to ensure that morale improves, productivity increases and a sense of teamwork is developed.

And this is the section that I'm stuck on,

RESOLUTION PLAN - you will provide details of the process you will be implementing to ensure that going forward any issues raised by your team are dealt with promptly internally initially & that all parties are clear as to the referral process if these issues are not able to be resolved within the workgroup.

The ‘resolution plan’ in case of any issues being raised by the team will be based on a well-defined and proper process. Initially any issues will be tried to resolve internally. For this I have established a common goal for all the 10 workers so as to minimize any chances of conflict or any chances of differences arising among them. Any issues, therefore arising at the workplace, will be tried to resolve by the employees themselves and in consultation with me if required. The resolution will be based on the common goal and objectives of the 10 workers and their work values and work ethics. Issues usually arise when there is a barrier to the common goal and the employees will try to find the barriers.

In case the issue is not resolved internally and within the workgroup then the workers will be able to raise their concerns to the HR department at the head office through an online ticket. The workers can simply submit an online ticket and should mention full details of the issue, the barriers and what they feel is the desired outcome. The HR department will look into the matter and try to resolve the issue in a systematic and tangible manner.
