ANSWER

Kidney failure is occur due to destruction of RBC By malaria parasite. Most commonly occur in adults and children are affected rarely.Kidney failure occur due to intravascular hemolysis and due to the products of hemolysis causes clogging of the tubule causes kidney dysfunction.Hemoglobin is not toxic but the product of hemolysis cause acute tubular necrosis which is responsible for kidney failure.

In malaria there is sequestration of RBC in blood vessel and spleen which lead to stasis of blood in spleen that causes spleen enlargement(massive spleenomegaly) ,which may lead to rupture causing internal bleeding.
