m is the mass

s is the specific gravity

ΔT is the change in temperature

So

Given

Temperature change is (50-25) oC = 25oC for all and also

equal masses

let mass be m

so

heat released(q) for Magnesium,( s = 1.05 J/goC)

q = m s ΔT

= m 1.05 J/goC 25oC

= 26.25m Joules

heat released(q) for Aluminum, (s=0.920 J/goC)

q = m s ΔT

= m 0.920 J/goC 25oC

= 23m Joules

heat released(q) for Lead, (s=0.126 J/goC)

q = m s ΔT

= m 0.126 J/goC 25oC

= 3.15m Joules

Hence

Magnesium releases most heat

Simply

As all mases and temperature change is equal

q = m s ΔT

depends on S

which has higher s releases most heat among others

so
