The challenges while diagnosing the child with bipolar disorder us firstly the need to interview the child as well as one parent in this process although there might be discrepancies. Secondly, it us to ensure the frequency of the symptoms which occurs almost every single day when a week is calculated . The duration of the symptoms would be carried but typically about four hours in the case of children. Baseline physiological parameters must be established because they tend to have a correlation with symptoms especially in the case of children and adolescents.
