The Fair Labor Standards Act is a United States Labor law formulated in order to protect the rights of the labors working in the country. The employers need to consider certain aspects while hiring, paying and working with labors. The primary provisions of the Act are:

1. It provides right to Minimum wage that needs to be provided to employees or labors.

2. The right to be eligible for over time pay if an individual has worked more than 40 hours a week.

3. Child labor needs to be stopped and actions against it needs to be taken as well.

4. There needs to be fair and safe working condition for the labors.
