Sigurd: - Sigurd was the best saint in Germanic legend and focal character of the Saga of the Volsungs. He was the foster-child of Reign, who sent him to recuperate a breathtaking crowd of gold. Reign's dad Hreidmar had first procured this fortune, which once had a place with the smaller person or dwarf Andvari. To get their hands on the gold Reign and his sibling Fafnir had then slaughtered Hreidmar, however, Fafnir needed the fortune for himself and transformed into a dragon to monitor it.

Reign wished to have the fortune which his sibling watched, and to this end fashioned a sword for Sigurd, yet it broke the first occasion when it was tried, and Sigurd had his father's sword reassembled and re-manufactured, and Gram stood each test. By cleverly cutting the beast from underneath, Sigurd prevailing with regards to killing Fafnir, hence increasing both riches and insight (by licking the blood of the killed mythical serpent), since Fafnir was said to have comprehended the language of flying creatures. When he understood that Reign planned to murder him for the gold, Sigurd slew him before diverting it from itself.

Sigurd at that point went to free the Valkyrie lady Brunhilde, who lay in an enchanted rest, cast there by Odin, for brave ascent over his desires. In any case, Brunhilde had sworn just towed the man who could ride through the flame that encompassed her residence. Gunnar needed her, yet couldn't play out the dread, yet Sigurd in Gunnar's shape did as such. Accordingly, Brunhilde consented to wed Gunnar.
