Web development life cycle includes the following 5
phases: planning, analysis, design and development, testing, and
implementation and maintenance. Describe the purpose of each phase
and the personal needed. [20 marks]
Web Development Life Cycle
A successful product development involves a clear understanding of the goals about product, the target audience that we attract.
The main motto in promoting the web application is with customer satisfaction,to achieve this bunch of time, energy and elegant intelligence is necessary.
The following are the major steps involved in the Development of web development life cycle. The overall number of steps usually varies from five to eight.
1) Research
The first step and indeed the most crucial one is understanding the client’s needs. Each and every application is different from one another. So at this stage, researches should gather as much relevant information as possible for the project.
Some questions should be answered before doing any project.
Maintain all the technical specifications(hardware and software) properly.
The content that should be included while designing (like texts, photos, translations)
2) Planning and Analysis
One quote by Abraham Lincoln is
"Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe"
This phase is key to successful project managementI.In this level it involves in determining the project goal disthe also devolepers also discuss what programming language, content management system (CMS), interactive forms and frameworks should be implemented.
A feasibility study among the client and web developer, taking into consideration various factors like project cost, equipment cost, practicality etc.
3) Design
It involves the actual creation and design of a system. It means a interactive prototype is created at this stage. This is the place where they put together the different pieces that will create the system.Layout is made.
Overall this phase deals about some functions such as screen layouts, process diagrams and other documentation are done here.
4) Implementation
Web site’s content is constructed to include HTML, images, database and any other necessary interactive software resulting in a complete and functional website ready to be launched.
5) Development
This is the level where the development begins. Professionals in turn all the graphic elements designed for the prototype into an actual website .
devolepment includes both the front end Development and back end Development.
6) Testing and Deployment
In this phase the product is put through various testing environments and tools designed and used by web development services to make the product to remove its bugs and errors or issues.
The designed website is reviewed and tested again until it was successful. Finally the web development services deploy and install the system after getting formally approved by the client.
7) Maintenance
Finally, changes according to the user’s feedback, support and maintenance as well as new updates are equally necessary. The maintenance phase also includes website backup, users satisfaction metrics were considered and if needed again from the previous phases the website design will be upgraded.

Per the text, the Database Life Cycle includes the Database Initial Study, Database Design, Implementation and Loading, Testing and Evaluation, Operation, and Maintenance and Evolution phases. However, the actual implementation of each of the phases will likely change, based on the size of the related organization or other organizational factors. Select one (1) phase of the Database Life Cycle, and describe the manner in which the chosen phase would change based on the size of the organization. Using the same...
Listed below are the first 2 steps of the software life cycle. Describe what happens during each phase. 1. Analysis and specification of the task 2. Design of the software Listed below are the third and fourth steps of the software life cycle. Describe what happens during each phase. 3. Implementation 4. Testing Listed below are the last 2 steps of the software life cycle. Describe what happens during each phase. 5. Maintenance and evolution of the system 6. Obsolescence
Explain all 5 (FIVE) stages of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) when developing an accounting system. In addition, describe the accountant’s roles in each of the phase. (Hint: 25 marks for explanation of SDLC phases + 5 marks for description of accountant’s roles in each phase = 25 marks. Hence a total of 50 marks)
the 6 steps of business continuity planning include a planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, maintenance b planning, negotiating, setting up contracts, testing, analysis, maintenance c Categorize, select controls, implement, test, Review, maintain d There are not 6 steps
List the six phases of the System Development Life Cycle (as described in my notes and the book in chapter 10). For each phase, describe two tasks that are performed in that phase. Bullet points are the recommended approach to answering this question. List the five phases of the Program Development Life Cycle (as described in my notes and the book in chapter 11). Design a complete product development through process steps & phases and life cycle for your mechanical /electronic or services product.
You will conduct a systems analysis project by performing 3 phases of SDLC (planning, analysis and design) for a small (real or imaginary) organization. The actual project implementation is not required (i.e. No coding required.) You need to apply what you have learned in the class and to participate in the team project work. Deliverables This project should follow the main steps of the first three phases of the SDLC (phase 1, 2 and 3). Details description and diagrams should...
