I worked for a electronics manufacturing company where company sells smartphones, laptops,computers, Tablets like products. I worked in Product department where we are responsible for creating unique design and user interface for products.
This job requires high level of creativity in employees so In order to create an environment where employees can have more innovative ideas and creativity, Company has implement practices like Group discussions, Role plays, Simulations. In this practices, employees were not alone, they all get support of experts and supervisors if they have doubts or have new ideas.
For example- our department divide the employees into two groups one is customer groups and second is seller group who is responsible for creating new product design and sell that to customer groups. the role plays help them to be creative with new new product design and show them to employees who are in shoes of customers.
This creative ideas help them to understand how new ideas can be created and how customers would respond to such ideas.like Foldable screen smartphone to customers at high price is liked or Foldable smartphone at competitive pricing is liked more. Camera should be in display or a small cut should be present for cameras.
Group discussions lead by supervisors in our department also help employees to be creative. In group discussions, every employee given chances to present thier views and the most liked idea win rewards like vacation trips, coupons, vouchers etc.
