Which of the following results in a decrease in the entropy of the system? (For solutions, consider the entropy of the solute only, not the solvent.)

A. 1 mol of NO (g), 200 K, 1 atm. → 1 mol NO (g), 300 K, 1 atm.

B. 1 mol of NO (g), 300 K, 1 atm. → 1 mol NO (g), 300 K, 2 atm.

C. 1 mol NO (aq), 25 C → 1 mol NO (g), 25 C

D. More than one of the above results (A-C).

E. None of the above results (A-C)
