3. Right to work state does not discriminate or compel employees to join or not to join any labor union. Any employee can’t be denied employment based on his being or not being a member of any kind of labor union.

Around 28 states have the right to work law. Some of those states are Arizona, Texas, Michigan, etc. The basic advantages of this right are:

  • Employee exploitation under the labor unions can be prevented
  • This right conserves the constitutional rights of employees and gives them a choice of joining or not joining any union
  • Labor productivity increases as union accountability towards the employee increases
  • Union tries to win the employees by providing them better representation

Right to a job gives the rights to the candidates to apply for any eligible job and their candidature will be considered without any kind of discrimination.

Right to due process has been stated under the Fifth Amendment. This law states that no individual will be deprived of life, property or individual liberty rights without the due process of law.

Participation rights gives the right to individuals to express their opinion on any matter, without any danger to their job, life or mere existence.
