Write a 250- to 350-word paper discussing the key aspects of how User and Group Schemas are implemented in a corporate environment.
A schema can be considered as a form of a table. When a user is created it is automatically allowed a spot based on protocols for querying user directories . We can define some default user attributes :-
to display name --displayname
to display email --email
and so on like this we can define almost all of the basic attributes like a user requires . One thing to note is that number of attributes are dynamic and can be set manually , we can also add attributes .
also values stored by default attributes can be configured . it is possible to add or change classes and attributes used for user and group entries .
A suitable configuration can provide us some validation when classes are changed :
when this happens all of the classes and their specified attributes must be known to the server and all default attributes that are configured must be supported by the classes . It also has few limitations as the server does not check that the defined user or group schema is changed .
one thing to note is that all class changes have to be atomic in nature .
User and group accounts come with a default set of classes applied to the entry . any attributes which belong to the object class can be added to the user entry .
On the other hand a group table can look like this :-
Date_created Date
group_name varchar(255)
The user and group classes are examples of structural classes . If a class is structural you can create objects of its type in the active directory .
