Answer: Utility provides the theory about Ethical and Moral actions, those need to be Judged based on the consequences are received, the consequences could be pleasurable for Consumer and could be painful for consumer, we call such term “Pleasurable” as we have received good result, however, if the outcome is not useful for consumer who is expected to buy such Outcome or result, then such consequences can be treated as Bad result that we have received, Again utilitarian theory comes under the head of consequentialism, there are two type of sentiment for human being, those are well being of sentiment and ill being of sentiment, that typically come out of Consequences for an action, again Utility provides the theory which constitute a form of hedonism, further pleasure and pain was defined to avoid pure hedonism, when all the consequences of an act reached in good and positive way, we can certain that pleasure has arrived, where as Painful situation arrived and create a blameworthy situation due to poor consequences received, Again many a times we may not know all the consequences of our actions and it may be difficult for people to distinguish good from the bad consequences, but we can keep ourselves ethical using contra hypothesis, Actions are considered transient things, those can be gone forever, but Consequences create long run result, thus the only things that matters is result or consequences for an action, Actions are transient things, soon gone forever.
