Kipling suggests that these white man will not walk or enter the ports they’ll make, but instead they will make them with their lives and mark them with their deaths as their creation meaning they will never use and enjoy the results of their hard work. Lastly Kipling tells how the white man’s rewards will be the blame,hate and cry of those they try to save by civilizing.
