A goal is a broad primary outcome, which an organization expects as the result of its overall functioning. Strategic aim include those long term goals which an organization wants to achieve through to the realization of the strategies. This could be securing a larger portion of the market share, increasing the productivity rate, getting more customer satisfaction, and expansion of the facilities which is more of an investment based decision.
Strategic objectives a small term oriented and these are small steps, which help in order to achieve the aim. This could be e some minor steps that are taken in order to reach a position formulated according to the strategic aim. As mentioned in the earlier case if the goal of an organization is to capture the majority of the market share then that could be e achieved by setting a strategic objective of offering the products on discount to the customers along with maintaining a profitable revenue. This could be done through advertising which project the benefits of the product and invite more customers towards more attractive deals.
The step by step achievement of strategic objective is the only way in order to achieve the strategic aim that will help an organization to attain its business goal.
