One of the most important stigmatizations is that the child is born with special needs because of the curse of God. This means the parents have done something wrong thus, the baby is born in that way. Secondly, the family would face the isolation of that child from the neighborhood because the neighbors would stigmatize that their children would be affected if they are allowed to mingle with children of special needs. Thirdly, people would suggest that a special needs child would remain a burden both economically and emotionally to the parents and that it’s not worth doing so. People would suggest them leave those children under care somewhere outside.
