incomplete dominance -Incomplete dominance refers to a genetic situation in which one allele does not completely dominate another allele and therefore results in a new phenotype.

Sex linkage is the phenotypic expression of an allele that is dependent on the gender of the individual and is directly tied to the sex chromosomes.

Closely related to incomplete dominance is codominance, in which both alleles are simultaneously expressed in the heterozygote.

Pleiotropy occurs when one gene influences two or more seemingly unrelated phenotypic traits.

Complete dominance is a form of dominance in the heterozygous condition wherein the allele that is regarded as dominant completely masks the effect of the allele that is recessive
