In this exercise you will develop a C# application that allows
the user to handle a Windows service. Create a class named
ServiceController. Create the following properties: CanShutDown,
CanStop, MachineName, ServiceName, ServiceType, Status. Create the
following methods: Start, Stop, Close, and ToString to return
service controller object information in a nicely formatted
string.
Provide a constructor that allows the user to initialize
ServiceController object information.
Write a driver class to test the ServiceController class. The
driver class (main class) interacts with the user and calls
ServiceController properties and methods to handle the service.
Provide interaction with user. Allow user to input service
information and use service methods and properties. Output the
results.
Here is the c# application for service controller.
using System;
using System.ServiceProcess;
using System.Diagnostics;
using System.Threading;
namespace ServiceControllerSample
{
class Program
{
public enum SimpleServiceCustomCommands
{ StopWorker = 128, RestartWorker, CheckWorker };
static void Main(string[] args)
{
ServiceController[] scServices;
scServices = ServiceController.GetServices();
foreach (ServiceController scTemp in scServices)
{
if (scTemp.ServiceName == "Simple Service")
{
// Display properties for the Simple Service sample
// from the ServiceBase example.
ServiceController sc = new ServiceController("Simple
Service");
Console.WriteLine("Status = " + sc.Status);
Console.WriteLine("Can Pause and Continue = " +
sc.CanPauseAndContinue);
Console.WriteLine("Can ShutDown = " + sc.CanShutdown);
Console.WriteLine("Can Stop = " + sc.CanStop);
if (sc.Status == ServiceControllerStatus.Stopped)
{
sc.Start();
while (sc.Status == ServiceControllerStatus.Stopped)
{
Thread.Sleep(1000);
sc.Refresh();
}
}
// Issue custom commands to the service
// enum SimpleServiceCustomCommands
// { StopWorker = 128, RestartWorker, CheckWorker };
sc.ExecuteCommand((int)SimpleServiceCustomCommands.StopWorker);
sc.ExecuteCommand((int)SimpleServiceCustomCommands.RestartWorker);
sc.Pause();
while (sc.Status != ServiceControllerStatus.Paused)
{
Thread.Sleep(1000);
sc.Refresh();
}
Console.WriteLine("Status = " + sc.Status);
sc.Continue();
while (sc.Status == ServiceControllerStatus.Paused)
{
Thread.Sleep(1000);
sc.Refresh();
}
Console.WriteLine("Status = " + sc.Status);
sc.Stop();
while (sc.Status != ServiceControllerStatus.Stopped)
{
Thread.Sleep(1000);
sc.Refresh();
}
Console.WriteLine("Status = " + sc.Status);
String[] argArray = new string[] { "ServiceController arg1",
"ServiceController arg2" };
sc.Start(argArray);
while (sc.Status == ServiceControllerStatus.Stopped)
{
Thread.Sleep(1000);
sc.Refresh();
}
Console.WriteLine("Status = " + sc.Status);
// Display the event log entries for the custom commands
// and the start arguments.
EventLog el = new EventLog("Application");
EventLogEntryCollection elec = el.Entries;
foreach (EventLogEntry ele in elec)
{
if (ele.Source.IndexOf("SimpleService.OnCustomCommand") >= 0
|
ele.Source.IndexOf("SimpleService.Arguments") >= 0)
Console.WriteLine(ele.Message);
}
}
}
}
}
}

Additional info is this will use a total of four classes Book,
BookApp, TextBook, and TextBookApp.
Also uses Super in the TextBook Class section.
Problem 1 (10 points) Вook The left side diagram is a UML diagram for Book class. - title: String The class has two attributes, title and price, and get/set methods for the two attributes. - price: double Вook) Book(String, double) getTitle(): String setTitle(String): void + getPrice() double setPrice(double): void toString() String + The first constructor doesn't...
cs55(java) please. Write a class called Book that contains instance data for the title, author, publisher, price, and copyright date. Define the Book constructor to accept and initialize this data. Include setter and getter methods for all instance data. Include a toString method that returns a nicely formatted, multi-line description of the book. Write another class called Bookshelf, which has name and array of Book objects. Bookself capacity is maximum of five books. Includes method for Bookself that adds, removes,...
Java Project Requirements: Account class Superclass Instance variables clearPassword String Must be at least 8 characters long encryptedPassword : String key int Must be between 1 and 10(inclusive) accountId - A unique integer that identifies each account nextIDNum – a static int that starts at 1000 and is used to generate the accountID no other instance variables needed. Default constructor – set all instance variables to a default value. Parameterized constructor Takes in clearPassword, key. Calls encrypt method to create...

User Define Object Assignment:
Create a Intellij Project. The
Intellij project will contain three user defined
classes. The project will test two of the User Define Classes by
using the invoking each of their methods and printing the
results.
You are required to create three UML...
Hello. I need help writing the following Java Program. Thank you Develop a class encapsulating the concept of a college course, assuming that a course has following attributers: code (for instance COSC1337), a description, and a number of credits (for instance 3). Include a constructor, the accessors, mutators and methods ‘toString’, ‘equals’, and ‘finalize’. Write a client class to test the behavior of the class and its methods. The outline of the class is given as follows: public class Course...
When a user signs in for the first time to a website, the user has to submit personal information, such as userid, name, email address, telephone number and so on. Typically, there are two fields for passwords, requiring the user to enter the password twice, to ensure that the user did not make a typo in the first password field. Write a class encapsulating user with the following elements: UserID Password Reentered password Email address Name Street Address City State...
This project will use The Vigenere Cipher to encrypt passwords. Simple letter substitution ciphers are ones in which one letter is substituted for another. Although their output looks impossible to read, they are easy to break because the relative frequencies of English letters are known. The Vigenere cipher improves upon this. They require a key word and the plain text to be encrypted. Create a Java application that uses: decision constructs looping constructs basic operations on an ArrayList of objects...

50 pts Question 2:2 1- Create the base class Book that has the following instance variables, constructor, and methods title (String) isbn (String) authors (String) publisher (String) edition ( int) published year (int) Constructor that takes all of the above variables as input parameters. set/get methods ToString method// that return sting representation of Book object. 2-Create the sub class New_Book that is derived from the base class Book and has the following instance variables, constructor, and methods: title...
Create an Item class, which is the abstract super class of all Items. Item class includes an attribute, description of type String for every item. [for eg. Book] A constructor to initialize its data member of Item class. Override toString() method to return details about the Item class. Create the ExtraCharge interface with the following details. Declare a constant RATE with value 0.25 Declare a method called calculateExtraCharge(), which returns a double value. Create the...
Concepts Tested in this Program: Class Design Constructors Objects Inheritance Program: Design a class named Person and its two subclasses, Student and Employee. Make Faculty and Staff subclasses of Employee. A Person object has a name, address, phone number, and email address (all Strings). A Student Object has a class status (freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior). Define the status as a final String variable. An Employee Object has an office number, salary (both ints ), and a date hired. Use...
