Ch. 12 identifies incentive compensation plans in relation to theories of motivation. Name three incentives which motivate you to increase your performance levels.

Motivation is an effective tool that managers can use to improve the performance and efficiency of the employees in a business organaation.

Three incentives which can improve my performance levels are:-

Flexibility in working hours - I would like more flexibility in my working hours so that I can improve my performance by working when I am most productive. This would improve the performance of the company as well as I will be able to finish more work in less time.

A salary raise- Monetary benefits are very important for improving the performance of the employees. A raise in my salary can help me in motivating me to improve my performance to avail the benefits.

Challenging job tasks- I get bored easily by performing the same job tasks. Providing me with challenging job tasks helps me in finding innovative solutions and will keep me motivated to improve my effeciency.
