1. The pursuit and accumulation of wealth is a core feature of the modern world. Yet throughout history, man has expressed criticisms, cautions, and concerns about the accumulation of private property and its implications. Discuss some of these criticisms, cautions and concerns as they have been expressed over time and whether any of them bear relevance today.
It is true that a central function of the modern world is the pursuit and accumulation of wealth. As it is said,' There are enough resources in the world to satisfy the need of all but not enough to satisfy the greed of one man.' Human is a social animal, and in a culture we are all adapted to live. When a person lives in a society, he / she communicates with each other and becomes acquainted with other people's possession, which generates the desire to own something.
All the wise people claim that happiness is not based on the financial health of somebody, as well said by a Hollywood star Jim Carry that' everyone should be rich once as it makes them understand that money is not necessary to be happy.' The accumulation of private wealth has many critiques, cautions, and worries. Below we're going to discuss some of them:
1. Financial safety: An individual wants to be financially stable when he starts earning money, which means he shouldn't worry about the money when the needs arise. But while making this thing work, the person indulges so much in the job and pursuit of accumulating wealth that he has stopped living in the present and the lost time will never return.
2. Health is Wealth: Most people don't realize that leading a happy life is one of the crietria that everybody has to take care of. But in accumulating the wealth they give up on nutrition, they go through such lifestyle. This may result in the time that that person has the money and all the protection to enjoy that time, at that time he / she may not have the right health.
