There are many things to consider when deciding to use steel, stainless steels, brass, or copper such as whether or not you need to be concerned about corrosion, cost, machinability, and thermal conductivity. Thinking only about the thermal conductivity, if im using this metal as a cutting tool and am concerned about the metal heating up too much, should I choose brass or steel? Explain.
