Bell curve analysis helps Human resource managers to gauge effectiveness in performance and make decisions regarding restructuring.

However the model is highly cintaminated for fact that it straight away eliminates bottom quintile of bell curve which might occupy certain employees who are highly skilled, new to organisation and have kesser experience in performance of goals.

These can be minimised by taking weighted average approach model where fixed weights are assigned to skills, qualifications, experience, contribution, peer review, senior leadership review. Subsequently aggregated scores get generated and persons with lowest scores shall be retrianed and onboarded again rather than laying off entire bottom percentage of employees.
