How can we set up an experiment to know that where the Transforming Growth Factor-β  gene is...

How can we set up an experiment to know that where the Transforming Growth Factor-β  gene is acting in the C.elegans ( the location of gene acting) and when does the gene acting? e.g. During embryonic stage or adult stage.
The experiment have to explain these 2 question.
Please tell me how to set up the experiment and the experimental principle.

The experiment can be performed by creating a Transforming Growth Factor- (TGF-) promoter + GFP construct. Since the GFP gene is under the control of the TGF- promoter, wherever TGF- is expressed, the GFP gene will be expressed as well. GFP will not be expressed in locations/stages where TGF- is not expressed. Since C. elegans is a transparent organism, we will be able to observe the GFP expression easily. So, this will tell us the exact location of TGF- expression and the stage during which it is expressed.
