Employee relations and engagement efforts by HSOs is very important because it keeps employees motivated, and dedicated to deliver the responsibilities assigned to them. Further, the efforts made by HSOs ensure that there is a good relations between the employees and employer and it is reflected when employees deliver services to the consumers or patients. It comes when employees get engaged in activities and it is done by the intrinsic motivation being developed among the employees. It happens, when a good employee relations and engagement level is built. So, the key of good performance by the employees, lie with the good employee relations and their adequate engagement level. It makes it very important within the organizational setting.
Examples of these efforts are the effective communication and action upon the feedback given by the employees. It develops trust. Further, the formation of informal groups where employees interact and discuss their issues to get their solutions. It develops a strong employee relation and organizational culture as well that promotes engagement. Besides, participation in the decision making process, HSOs conducting regular behavioral and cultural training to cope with the work pressure. It develops motivation to do something very good for the organization, consumers and patients.
