Hydrochloric acid is a strong corrosion and toxic agent and thus must be handled with full care and safety. Often while working with HCl, people mistakenly spill some acid on their hands which can cause painful burns, blisters and also corrode the skin. So it is recommended to wear thick rubber gloves while worming with conc. HCl. The HCl can't penetrate through the rubber gloves, thus keepoke our hands safe.
