Let's assume that you have been asked to present to a large number of students (ages 20-25) on a concept related to organizational management. Considering the common characteristics, learning styles, interests, and behaviors that we often observe among individuals within this age range, what steps will you take to analyze them effectively and prepare a presentation that will grab the attention of the majority?
As its typically seen that the students of the age group 20-25 are more occupied with responsibilities, career goals, work load, personal priorities etc . It is the age where students are concerned about their future, and thus always feel like they are running out of time.
They are fast learners, they prefer conceptualization and deep
learning. This age group is found creative and like to take
initiatives in work, they are adamant to change their perspective
but are open to new experiences.
Thus this age group should be analysed through taking into
consideration the following :
Motivation: In order to direct the actions of this age group the best method is to determine and identify what drives them, what will push them to achieve more, how will they better work for achieving goals.
Priorities or Interests: This age group is more dedicated to
achieve more in less time and hence if their main interests are
known it will be easy to direct them towards a common goal. The age
group is diligent towards earning money and need time to spend with
their family and loved ones.
Driving forces : It would be better to evaluate the personalities of this age group inorder to know what affects them and what doesn't.
Influencing factors : The various factors such as latest trends,
fashion, new technological gadgets, fitness and appearance, high
living standards are some factors that are common influencing
factors of this age group. Thus these factors should be triggered
to influence them.
The people of this age group are fitness freaks, worry a lot about
their appearances. This should be used as a driving force for
influencing them.
Social needs: the people of this age need social interactions to share their feelings and sentiments. They need friendly environment to groom and develop. Over thinking, obsessions, depression, anxiety etc are common in this age group if their personal matters or issues overshadow their life goals and future prospectus. Thus counselling is required to cope up with these issues inorder to live a satisfied life.
Presentation:
Organisational Management :
The process by which the various physical and human resources of
the organization are combined, directed, integrated, structured in
an efficienct way to achieve the targets and objectives of the
organisation.
Well, the organisations today recruit personnel only on the basis of talents, skills, competencies and knowledge, thus each person who possesses these qualities are considered deserving to occupy a position without bias of any kind.
The traditional method of internal recruitment like promotions have been found to act as a barrier in letting new creative ideas and ways of performing tasks because of the traditional specialization.
Thus the organisational management aims at infusion of new blood
by providing the freshers with the opportunities to prove
themselves through allowing them to put all creative and innovative
ideas in accomplishing tasks.
Organisational management will allow freshers to manage tasks,
handle important projects, use the physical resources, establish
authority over team members by putting them at the competing
positions with experienced people to let them compete with old
employees and be diligent towards attaining the desired
outcome.
Thus these young managers should also be hold accountable for their
actions foe successful running of business. Now when people of
younger ages are placed on such positions isn't it their
obligations to come up to the expectations of their bosses and meet
their requirements. They should try best to exploit this
opportunity to become an example to the people of their age. This
will drive the people of their age to push themselves more towards
attaining high standards
By providing them with such a deserving status in their learning years, it now becomes their duty to push themselves to manage tasks efficiently, supervise and instruct the people under them, perform as per the high standards prescribed . They should try their best to find ways that will maximize value and output by minimizing cost and inputs
The freshers are directly promoted to high positions and
entrusted with the managing jobs , thus on accomplishing each job
they will be provided with holidays to spend time with their loved
ones also will also be provided with fringe benefits. Though their
pay in the intial years will not be qual to the pay of experienced
employees but will still be higher than the average of what is
provided to their age group by other industries.
They will be given separate hours to spend time in increasing their
knowledge, attaining new skills fir their constant training and
development so that their growth does not remain stagnant.
Self improvement and self learning is dominant under people of this
age , thus they will be provided with the necessary resources
required to enhance their personality and competencies.
Thank you
Dear student , the second part is presented within the perspective of motivating the young managers of this age group, thus the main topic is kept short. Hope i explained well
Good luck and God bless
