In-house training may solve a number of issues. How would you identify "effective managers"? How might these managers assess these employees and know they've learned the skills they need to operate independently? How might we use on-the-job training to accomplish these goals?
Effective managers can be identified with their ability to communicate with their employees, carefully identify the skill gaps in the employees and organizing the training as well as the right approach in the training programs that can help employees raise their performance level as expected by the organization. Hence, effective managers are known for their capabilities to transform their employees into the key human resource that are of huge importance to the organization.
Managers regularly monitor the performance of the employees before and after the training and observe any significant improvement in the employees in terms of the performance level, productivity, efficiency and ease at work. It is done in the wake of effective training and appropriate method adopted.Afterwards, the managers delegate some responsibilities and observe the performance results. If it is good enough, then managers find the employee to be ready to take up independent responsibilities. If not, then these employees are given next level of training & development programs and kept under the observation.
