Based on what you have learned so far about Doughnut Economics. Do you think the principles can be adopted in time to avoid significant problems and even catastrophe for humanity? Why or why not? If so there is time, how may the adoption might unfold over the next two decades?
Doughnut economics is an economic model which attempts to measure the extent upto which the needs of people can be fulfilled without overshooting the earths ecological ceiling.
This economic model can help to avoid significant problems that we face today and human catastrophe like water crisis, damage to agricultural products due to environmental changes leading to food crisis, pollution that hampers the health of people etc.
All the other economic models that exist today failed to address the ecological crisis.
On contrary this model measure the overshoot in terms of ozone layer depletion, ocean acidification, chemical pollution, biodiversity loss, air pollution etc.
Alongwith it, it also seeks to reduce inequality in wealth and income.
Accordingly, the aim of economic activity should be to meet the needs of all within the means of planet. Our progress should be measured in terms of how well we have conserved our planet in combination with good economic growth. Rather than the speed that degrade our long term prospects. Because once the ecological balance in completely destroyed, there is no going back. Humans will also cease ro exist with destruction of environment.
The adoption of this model should be unfolded with participation of other nations as well. There should be a combined effort to reduce this imbalance as nature is not limited to a single nation.
In initial stage the severity of environment on different places and the development level and economic conditions of society should be measured.
In later stages a well planned structure should be constructed for implementation of this model.
As in coming years the rate of environmental degradation is gathering pace, water shortage ,and food shortage is going to be rampant.
This model should be implemented as a priority.

Based on what we've learned so far, what do you think human skin tones will look like 100,000 years from now? (assuming humans are not extinct!) Consider factors such as natural selection, founder effect, genetic drift, vitamin D, folate, etc.
Peacock spider assignment Answer the following questions based on what you have learned so far about sexual selection and displays. Question 1 You have received a $500,000 grant from the National Science Foundation to study male signalling in peacock spiders. After your university takes most of that money for overhead costs, you now have a small amount left over to spend on peacock spider research over the next 3 years. What is the first question that you would focus on...
Based on what you have learned so far, what is managerial accounting? Why are companies focused on their costing? Answer the initial discussion in at least one paragrah of 4-6 sentences. More is better.
Based on what you have learned in this course so far, discuss a specific work of art or media (painting, graffiti, meme, advertisement, etc.) with regard to its relationship to wellness. Share a link and/or summarize your topic so that we all have enough information to understand your discussion even if we are unfamiliar with the example. So far in this course, we have learned about and discussed the concept of scarcity - the idea that there are unlimited wants and limited resources to meet those wants. We traditionally relate this concept to business decisions, but it really has effects that are more far-reaching than most realize. The scenario in this question highlights issues of scarcity that, unfortunately, some households must make. You are the head of the household – a single parent with three children. Your...

Discuss what you have learned so far in the course to compare quantitative and qualitative research: 1) discuss the similarities and differences in these research approaches. 2) Discuss the key features of each approach and give an example of a research question that might be asked for each.
2-Chloropropane Based on what you have learned so far, predict the more stable product in the reaction of CH2=CH-CH2-CH3 with HBr (circle the arrow for the step that leads to the predicted product), then calculate the energies of intermediates and products. Reactions normally go through the most stable intermediate, irrespective of the stability of the product. Circle the product you would get based on the stability of the intermediate. HẠC-CH–CH2–CH, • HAC-CH-CH2-CH, Br Energy: Energy H C=C CH2CH3 + HBr...
