Describe the story of quality design and control as seen it unfold up to this point. Include descriptions of the various tools and techniques we’ve covered so far and – more importantly – convey the meaning and significance of these tools in helping us better manage our processes.

Quality design and control is one of the most used and well known terms for any project or work in order to judge or identify the end result of the project or product. These two terms are considered to be most effective and crucial in any management for better output.

Quality design is defined as the any product or service should meet the standards and requirements of a consumer. whereas control will insure that the requirements are able to meet and make sure the corrective steps are taken during process to maintain constant performance.

Quality is a word which is defined to measure the kind of work or performance of any product or process. It is considered in every part of the work that is delivered.

Quality design in simple terms is defined as the organization is intended or thriving to deliver a quality based design to its clients or consumers. In the past face world, it’s very important to deliver a product or service in such a way that it should meet the requirements and fulfills the needs of a consumer. Most of the organizations mostly concentrate on quality design and control to provide best product or service to their consumers and made a brand name in the market.

Even consumers except the best quality of products or services form the producer or distributor that fulfills the requirements.

A product or service that is designed in such a way that it should meet all the requirements. The quality design of a product is mixed with the appearance, specifications, drawing and catalogues etc. which processed through a quality test before its release in the market.

Quality design and control are more drive factors that any product or service is needed. The actual meaning of containing these things is to ensure that engineering requirements in design were meet in the design of any product that fulfills consumer requirements. If there are any issues and other variations that can be controlled while producing the products.

There are so many tools and techniques that are used in the process of quality design and control. They are:

  1. Flow charts
  2. Control charts
  3. Histograms
  4. Effect and Cause diagrams etc.

These are mostly used as tools and techniques that to define the quality and control un the management to design and control issues. Each tools have its significant effect on the process. Every tool that helps to define the problem and identify the control so that proper solution can be identified at the earlier stage.

Flow charts is a step by step process that completely explains the chain of process steps that followed to complete a task. Flow chart process defines all the process steps and controls to perform a task to maintain the order and follow sequential steps to perform the same.

Control charts are used to identify the deviations and helps to identify the issues at the earlier state so that proper action can be taken for the smooth run of the process.

Histograms are also one of the most important that can be used to verify with various data that is used in the process to deliver quality design and control.

Effect and cause diagrams are most effective in this process because these are drawn in such a way to identify the causes and estimate the occurrence of serious issues and actions to deal with it. This is basically used to identify the serious issues and root cause for the issues to provide the solution.
