Companies and cultures that have the potential to become unethical or have ethical implications over the future are:
WALMART
Even though Walmart has always remained in the news regarding their
unethical treatment of employees, the fact that their business
model does not let smaller stores and businesses survive the
competition has us thinking of the unethical approach they have and
its implications over their future approach.
AMAZON
Amazon is one of the world's biggest online retailers. Even though
the company is ethical to the core, following every standards,
protocols, and policy which enables it the ability to function
ethically, the fact that their operations have a negative impact
over the smaller businesses and the brick and mortar stores can be
considered as potentially becoming unethical in the coming
future.
HYPERCOMPETITIVE COWORKERS CULTURE
When we consider a company that focuses on rewarding the employees
that outperform others, they end up creating a process where the
entire understanding to the employees tend to become self-centered
and for their self-preservation and therefore, tend to create a
culture which lacks synergy and where individuals resort to
unethical means in order to create another aspect of
favorability.
LAX CORPORATE CULTURE
When the leader, managers, and the organization policies make it
easy for the individuals to go unpunished for unethical behavior,
or, which do not take the necessary actions on time, tend to create
the culture where unethical means and practices become part of
their normal undefined having future implications of ethics and
morality in the process.
