Hi, I have the next situation, and I need to know how one of the following business systems: ERP, CRM and SCM can be a potential help for the company given the problem in the situation. Please help me with a good explanation and if you have also some links about how companies has solved problems like that it would be great. Thank you very much. The most important thing is the part of business systems.

Situation:

A key process for Gold Jewelry is the recruitment of temporary personnel, specifically to meet demand peaks. Although this process is related to the hiring of personnel, it is a unique process since its focus is not the selection and hiring of suitable personnel that supports the development of the company, but it is seen as a cost-effective solution to the problem of predictable affluence of clients at certain times of the year. For Gold Jewelry, this process presents some critical elements. On the one hand, the hiring of employees should consider aspects such as the criminal record of the candidate since they will work with exclusive and valuable products. On the other hand, recruitment must be adjusted to each country, taking into account local regulations regarding seasonal employment.
Currently, this process is very reactive and produces a high level of stress in the company's personnel, since it often has to bear the burden of the problems that this can generate (high turnover of personnel, among others). Likewise, the process also presents problems associated with the privacy of candidate data. In order to improve the execution of the process, Gold Jewelry wants to support it with more collaborative strategies and technologies, in addition to exploring options such as the creation of its own seasonal workforce.

First of all there is a need to understand the need of and objective of ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning), CRM
(Customer Relation Ship Management), SCM(Supply Chain Management)

ERP-The basic objective of ERP is to ensure the optimum utilization of resources in an organization.
it also provide the cross functional system, it means resources of one department can be used by some other
department within a same organization.

CRM- The objective of CRM is to maintain the relation ship with customers, because the existing customers can
bring new customers, if existing customers are satisfied with the services and products provided by the
organization.

SCM- The objective of SCM is to ensure the delivery of services/Products on time.it can be well explained with
the help of following example:
Consider the Milk product, every consumer requires milk packets/bottles on his door or nearby shop early in the
morning before leaving for his/her office/school/college.it means this product requires very strong supply
chain management. if the delivery of milk packets/bottles is late then this product will lose it's worth.

News Paper(printed)- it should be delivered early in the morning.it also requires very strong SCM.

Now come to the problem of Gold Jewelry Company(GJC):

In this scenario ERP can play very important Role, because ERP ensures the optimum utilization of resources.
So, if any human resource(Employee) is idle or having less work load in the organization, this can be traced by
the ERP,and the concerned human resource can be given additional task.

ERP also provide the cross functional system, it means employees(if they are having less work load) of
different departments of the Gold Jewelry company(GJC) can be grouped to gather to form a new team to meet the
demand peaks.
if Gold Jewelry company(GJC) wants to hire employees on temporary basis on it's own, GJC can ask for the submission of original testimonials.
Data Analysis: GJC can have the software to analyze the data(obtained from social media) of temporary employee to understand the psychology of temporary employee.

Apart from all that, the following strategy can be used.

As mentioned in the problem that employees are supposed to work in various countries.
Gold Jewelry company should hire local human resources through local renowned and government registered job
placement companies(requiter) of the particular country.
So the important issues such as criminal record and privacy can be handled to a large extent.


CRM can also play important role in the scenario, because it is very important to predict the exact demand
peaks, on the basis of demand, required number of human resources can be hired to meet out the increased load.

SCM can support the business process by delivering the services/products(Gold Jewelry) to the customer on time.
because in peak season, the objective is to maximize the profits in the peak season.
To meet out the above challenge,acquisition process for raw material and other direct or indirect assets should
be strong.
finished products should be delivered to the customer as soon as possible.
that's why there is a need of strong SCM.
there is also a role of HRM(Human Resource Management), because the existing working environment should be scalable,it means new employees can be easily integrated in the existing system.
training programs for new employees should be conducted(if required).
