4. Types of diversity in teams:
1. Social category diversity:
This includes ethnic diversity, economic diversity, demographic diversity and cultural diversity.
2. Value diversity:
Different people have different value systems. Some people are task oriented while others are people oriented.
3. Informational diversity:
People coming from different academic background bring a fresh perspective and different viewpoints to the table. This is informational diversity
5. How much is too much diversity in teams:
There is nothing as too much diversity, it all depends on the mindset of the people working together. Although, there might be too much diversity when people are not even able to communicate well between themselves. If people don't understand what the other team member is trying to convey then it fails the purpose of the team. So, there should be some common ground for team members to connect.

Team should be self sufficient with members ranging ideally from 4 to 8. Although, there is no specific rule for it but smaller teams are more efficient and easier to manage. Members should be having complementary skills.
