It is my responsibility to select an ethics officer for my organization; I will select a person who is honest, upright, and truthful. He must have some knowledge of law and experience as an ethics officer would be very valuable. The educational qualification is MBA degree with courses that cove corporate ethics and responsibility. In addition the persons should have a strong sense of right and wrong and should consider the view of all stakeholders. The ethics officer should be able to adopt to the organization by implement uniformity and understanding rules and regulations. He or she should able to monitor employee’s behavior in the workplace and provide training on ethical issues. Organizations is basically a group of people's that have several types of traits and differences. Organizations long terms survival and rapid growth possible through the ethical practices and strong corporate governance. Organizations must have a ethical work culture so that unity among employees possible and organization productivity at the top.
